Pavel Vesnakov was born on 1987 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Pavel Vesnakov is a student of Georgi Djulgerov and a graduate of the New Bulgarian University - a place he finds almost accidentally after graduating from a secondary school in Sofia. At the beginning he studied at two places - including at the Faculty of History at Sofia University, but he only lasted three months and dashed the story. His first film shot for less than 1000 euro, collected from friendly loans and his mother's money. The Pavel's mother is a doctor. His second film he has shoot on the prize money, which he received for the first. He started to shoot his third film "Pride" (Bulgarian-German production) after a three-year searching for funds. "Pride" won Grand Prix at the International Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France. His fourth short film "Zeus" won the Grand Prix at the Brest Film Festival in France.
