Director Jakub Piatek

Jakub Piatek is a renowned Polish director and writer, known for his work in the movie industry. He graduated from the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz. Before studying directing, he worked as a journalist and culture manager. His movie Mother (2009), was screened at more than fifty international festivals and received several awards. In 2021, he started teaching fiction directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz.
