Anton observes. Alone. A phosphorescent glow flickers through the streets. Anton sees a bee dying, then another. No one sees a thing, not even Kata, over there on the roof. Kata and his gang are running, laughing, spray-painting. Anton watches them, especially her. He dreams of joining them.

Frank Ternier is a self-taught French director, author, editor and graphic designer blending genres and media. He founded L'Astronef association in Tours (1999) and directed his first animated short in 2010. His 2014 short "8 balles" was selected at Cannes' Directors' Fortnight and screened at over 100 festivals. A founding member of the Ideal Crash collective, his Arte-supported "Riot" drew attention at Ottawa IFF and Interfilm Berlin. He now presents "Strange Teen Spirit", also produced with Arte support.
