Veneta Androva (born in Sofia) is a Berlin-based artist working with moving image, holding degrees from Weißensee Academy of Art and Humboldt University. Her work weaves archival materials, documentaries, and computer-generated elements through animation into speculative storytelling. Her film "From My Desert" was nominated for the German Short Film Award (2020), and "AIVA" won the Prix Ars Electronica 2021 Award of Distinction and the Golden Horseman for Animated Film. Her films have screened at festivals including Ars Electronica, EMAF, and Kassel Documentary Film Festival.
