The story of "Snake Soup" follows a soldier on his way to the battlefield, whose encounters along the way become the foundation for his blissful imagination. After a devastating explosion on the battlefield, his vivid recollections of the past intermingle and culminate in a delirious haze.

Zack Demirtshyan is an Armenian artist, printmaker and animation director, holding a master's degree from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia and a graduate of the exchange program with Ecole Supérieure d'Art de Marseille. Known for surrealistic, expressive motifs, he has exhibited in Armenia and abroad, with notable illustrations for Orwell's "Animal Farm" and Kafka's "Metamorphosis". A member of the Artist Union of Armenia, he completed his first animated short, "Snake Soup", which premiered at Annecy Animation FF in 2025.
