Matteo Burani is an animation director born in Bologna (Italy) in 1991. A self-taught artist, he began his experience in stop-motion in 2010 by founding Studio Croma, where he works as a puppet maker and character designer on various projects. Experimenting with numerous animated languages, he made his debut as a film director in 2017 with music videos, commercials and shortfilms.He is currently responsible for overseeing the puppet department at Studio Croma and handles the writing and directing of all projects.
