Director Nour Khamis

Nour is an Ecuadorean-Palestinian artist and animator born and raised in Quito. She earned her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design before pursuing animation at the RCA. Her work explores the body as a vessel for memory and the subconscious, blending playfulness withelegance to reveal universal truths (in the most intimate way). Passionate about equitable access and representation in the film industry, she has taught animation in summer camps and led prestigious fellowship programs for underrepresented writers and filmmakers through her position at Diverso.
