Candela has a monotonous life in an inland town. During the town festival, she accidentally runs over her nephew's dog, but decides not to confess. Instead, she invents a legend about a dog pilgrimage to a sacred tree and invites him to join her in the search. Slowly, the lies begin to consume her.

Júlia Coldwell Serra is a director and screenwriter, a Directing graduate from ESCAC. Her student short "LA MORT PETITA" (2021) won Best Short Film at BCN Film Fest. In 2025, she completed her Master's with "NINGÚ BORDA" (NOBODY BARKS), which premiered at Valladolid IFF and screened at Clermont-Ferrand 2026. Her work uses comedy and the absurd to explore contemporary social issues. She is currently developing her first feature.
