Victor Quintanilha holds a Cinema degree from PUC-Rio (2011) and specialized in Sound at EICTV Cuba (2015), where he designed sound for Iceberg (IDFA 2015, Best Short Film at Fribourg 2016). Since 2015, he has worked as sound editor on 51 features, including Bacurau and Gabriel e a Montanha. In 2020, he wrote and directed Little Portugal, which premiered at Clermont-Ferrand 2021 and screened at over 40 festivals. His latest short, Jacaré, premiered at Clermont-Ferrand 2025.
