 An electrician takes a job to replace sockets, desperate for cash after months of unpaid invoices. In a young mother’s flat, he discovers an illegal electricity bypass left behind by her parents. For her, it means a debt of hundreds of thousands; for him, the impossibility of finishing his work. Should he walk away and look for money elsewhere, or help her through unofficial means? A drama about survival in a system that leaves both characters with no choice but to bend its rules.

Director Kryštof Kindl

Czech director and editor, studying editing at FAMU and the Michael Academy. He won the 48 Hour Film Project in 2022, representing the Czech Republic at Filmapalooza in Los Angeles. His student work screened at Antifet Fest and Mladá kamera Uničov (2nd place), and his documentary "Hedgehog in a Cage" was presented at Ji.hlava IDFF. His films blend real-life stories with tools like 3D animation, including spots for the Children's Crisis Center, ADRA, and ALSA.
