La Cañada Real, Europe's largest slum on the outskirts of Madrid, has been without electricity for over a year. In the firelight, Toni, a 13 year-old boy, discovers that his best friend Nasser is leaving forever. Amongst Roma legends of a possible future, Toni looks for a way to stay connected to him.

Guillermo García López is a filmmaker born in Madrid. His first film, Frágil Equilibrio, premiered at IDFA and won the Goya for Best Documentary Feature in 2017.
His new film Aunque es de Noche premiered at the Festival de Cannes Official Selection – Short Film Competition 2023 and won the Best Fiction Short Goya in 2024.
