Every attempt at creative work ends in an escape into his own imagination, into a world full of colors and adventures, and every return to reality is increasingly overwhelming and gray. The monkey must face itself in order to find a space to live between worlds.

Director Marcjanna Urbańska

Marcjanna Urbańska is an animated film director, book illustrator, and author of music covers and posters, exploring emotional states between dream and reality. A graduate in Animation and Special Effects from the Łódź Film School, her films have screened at DOK Leipzig, Kyoto Student Film Festival, and Seville European Film Festival, as well as Polish festivals Animator and Etiuda & Anima. Passionate about comics and fantasy literature, she also works as an animator on various projects.
