Director Julián Lona

Julián Lona was born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1989. He has directed 3 independent documentary feature films that participated in several festivals as: MarDoc Lab (International Film Festival of Mar del Plata), MIPTV-MIPDOC (Cannes), Long Beach Indie (USA), Uruguay International Film Festival, among others. After 13 years filming he is now focusing in fiction, starting with his debut short film El canto del cisne starring Javier Godino (El secreto de sus ojos) and Lucas Ferraro (Vis a Vis), with original music composed by Sergio Acosta Russek (Zoé). This film has participated in internationally prestigious festivals such as In the Palace (Bulgaria, Oscar qualifier); Girona Film Festival, Elche and more.

He is currently in distribution of 2 short films (The next time starring Ana María Picchio / Esteban Meloni; and Oropel starring Antonio Birabent). Also in search of financing for his next fictional feature film called Victoria).
