A piece of meat is a boxing drama inspired by Jack London's short story. In the 2000's, an aging boxer in the shabby suburbs of Budapest fights one last illegal match to provide for his sons.

Goretic Péter, born on the 12th of march 1994, in Pécs, Hungary. He grew up in Sombor, Serbia and he also attended school there. When he was 18 years old, he went to Brazil for one year and finished high school there. After that he applied to the Metropolitan University in Budapest, and studied cinematography. He started directing during that time. He directed several short films. For example “Merciful angel”, “Killers” or “A Great man”.
