Marilou Caravecchia-Pelletier is a Montreal-born Quebec screenwriter and director exploring family dynamics, alongside her career as first assistant director on Falcon Lake and Simo. Her debut short Harevan won Best Screenplay at UQAM and screened at Camerimage. Her 2022 short Rose blanche explored mother-daughter relationships across festivals including Cinemania and RVQC. Drawn to fragile beginnings and small sparks, she now releases her third short, Siren.
