In the midst of an existential crisis, Y. ostracizes himself to live the rest of his days in solitude, locked in an underground bunker with a system designed to euthanize him at a random time. Asparuh Frangov is a Bulgarian-American film director and visual artist. His no-budget shorts The Address (2016) and A Shadow Confined (2020) screened internationally, the latter winning awards at CineLibri, Neo-South IFF, and MICEA'20. He holds a Political Science degree from Sofia University. He has worked as still photographer/editor on Block (2023) and in art departments for Devil's Play and Don't Close Your Eyes. A freelance Production Designer, he has worked with Bulgarian artists like Grafa and Mihaela Fileva, and brands including Audemars Piguet and Coach.
