Stella is a social worker sent on a signal to check a house in the suburbs of Sofia. The young woman falls into the world of 9-year-old Scarlet and her negligent mother, who in order to survive gets involved with the wrong people. Maria Bobeva is a Bulgarian-born, Los Angeles-based, award-winning director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. After several successful years on the stage in her homeland, she decided to pursue a film career in Hollywood, where she participated in numerous productions. In 2017, she started writing her own screenplays, and later directing and producing them. Her short films “Audition” and “Blinks” have been highly acclaimed on the international festival scene.
