Bobby, a sixteen year old girl, who indulges in violent fantasies about her bedridden mother, dreams of escaping to the plains of Tanzania to hunt wild animals. To fund her journey, she works at Mrs Cheatmen's Corner Store, where she catches the eye of Mrs Cheatmen's son, Lucas. As Bobby's hunting tales excite Lucas, he rebels against his mother, his behavior becoming increasingly erratic. As Bobby's fantasies blur reality, her influence on Lucas threatens her job and dreams of escaping.

Meghan O'Shaughnessy is an award winning director from Limerick, Ireland. Her most recent documentary ‘They Killed Us For Existing’ won a Royal Television Society Award for 'Best Factual Piece 2023'. Meghan received a First Class Honors from the National Film School Ireland with her graduate production, 'How To Skin A Cheetah’. The film is an exploration into surrealism and German Expressionism. Meghan is interested in themes such as parenting, coming of age and violence.
