Natalia Bermúdez is a director, writer, and cinematographer born in Tijuana, Mexico. Graduated CUM LAUDE from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica with a degree in directing.
Her debut documentary "Norte" was a winner at GIFF and received a special mention at DocsMx. She has directed and written fiction and documentary short films such as "Apnea" (Winner of 6 Pantallas de Cristal and Audience Award at Etiuda & Anima in Poland. Official selection at Huelva, La Habana, Cinequest, FICM, Kinoforum, among others), "Golden Malibu" (Official selection at FICM, GIFF, Palm Springs. Audience Award at Kinoforum Sao Paulo and Best Short Film at Houston Latino Filmfest and Le chien qui aboie).
In television, she co-directed with Everardo González the documentary series "Anatomía del mal (Vix)." She has also contributed as a director and/or writer to programs such as "Stories of a generation" (Netflix), "Erótica" (Pantaya), "Marea Alta" (Vix), "Mariachi Camargo" (Canal 14), and as a cinematographer in "Cenizas de la Gloria" (Vix), "Anatomía del mal" (Vix), and "Villamiseria."
