İlker Özçelik is an Assistant Professor in English Literature at Süleyman Demirel University, Turkey. He is regional editor of the open-access Global Shakespeares Video and Performance Archive at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Leicester School of English. His research is divided into two distinct but nevertheless related strands: textual studies, especially digital text and digital humanities, and contemporary Shakespearean performance. His research is funded by the European Commission, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, The Turkish Council of Higher Education, the Association for Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI), the International Shakespeare Association, and other agencies.
