Screening in Bosnek Village

Connecting Culture Caravan (CCC) is an activity, part of the Connecting Culture: Expanding European Short Film Horizons or CC ITP Project, which aims to promote audiovisual artworks and support the audience development and engagement processes for all ages, especially young people across Europe and beyond. The CCC is a sub-project, providing a traveling cinema with an outdoor screen, audio system, and projector in order to bring European films and audio-visual works to remote and underserved areas.

The latest screening held in Bosnek village in the Pernik region brought together the local people, providing them with a cultural exchange and discussions through enjoyable films. More screenings are expected in the same region.

The project is supported by MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Commission and it refers to an audience development, culture enrichment and short film promoting initiatives for societies in rural areas in Pernik region, Bulgaria, with limited access to culture content.

Some of the initiatives include screenings of contemporary short films, followed by discussion with the audience.
