Sixteen-year-old Michele works as a “cowboy” on a wild plateau in the Apennines. Together with his colleague, 21-year-old Alexandra, he offers horseback rides across the vast fields to tourists who love riding. But nothing has been the same since the events of last winter.

Matteo Gariglio is a Swiss documentary filmmaker and photographer, born in Lucerne, Switzerland. He studied visual communication with focus on video at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - Design & Art. He also holds a Master in Documentary Directing from Universidade Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon, University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest and LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. His short film, EN LA BOCA, was nominated for the European Film Award, the Swiss Film Award, won various prizes and screened at over 100 International Film Festivals.
