An intimate journey through the places most affected by the Balkan war. A path that crosses the different landscapes and the gazes of those who observe them, questioning the real nature of what we see and the interpretation we can give of it. A journey between different reflections, fleeting visions, perpetually mediated by the window of a train which acts as a limit that cannot be crossed. This work is measured with the value of memory and the limits of the gaze, both destined to rarefaction.

My name is Samuele Giorgetti, I am 27 years old and I am a young director based in Bologna (Italy). I attended a degree in Cinema at the University of Bologna and I have currently finished making two short films that are being distributed: Peron (2024), Handycam (2024). For about two years I have been working for the production company Black Sheep and for the creation of various commercials and videoclips.

I am currently dedicating myself to the development of a new documentary project.
