A son picks his father up from a psychiatric hospital and takes him home to his grandparents. The father tries to revive their relationship, but the son, like the grandparents, is indifferent to him. They spend the day together.

Arnas Balčiūnas (b. 2001) is a Lithuanian filmmaker pursuing a Master's in Film Directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, having graduated from Skalvija Film Academy in 2020. His short "Blausos" (2022) won the Silver Crane's Egg for Best Student Film and Best National Film at Scanorama. His 2024 film "Hablo Dėsnis" premiered at Vilnius Short Film Festival. His latest short, "Past The Hill of Napoleon's Hat", won Best Lithuanian Short Film at Vilnius IFF.
