Losing Touch
The film depicts the internal dialogue on coping with the grief of ecological degradation. As the body and mind wander through the streets of Berlin, encounters over 24 hours depict a sensational, overstimulating cityscape. With multimedia recordings from a camcorder, beer developed film, and cyanotype, metal and flesh entangle themselves within and between the frames. Subverting the nature-culture dichotomy, the city and nature merge into a dirty, omnipresent force. What have we become?
