Márk Beleznai is a Budapest based film director. His main focus is directing, but he studied editing, cinematography and scriptwriting as well. He also works as a projectionist in a small art-house cinema called Cirko-Gejzír. He's focusing on everyday characters who have a deep desire to connect with someone else, but have a hard time doing so.

His first notable short film, 'Agapé', which was made with fellow students at Budapest Metropolitan University, has been accepted for the Cinéfondation selection of Festival de Cannes, and won several awards worldwide. His subsequent short, 'Another Nest' was selected in various Oscar and European Film Award qualifying festivals, such as Interfilm Berlin, Leuven Intl. Short FIlm Festival, In The Palace Intl. Short Film Festival.
