Petra Zopnek was born in Viena, Austria. She has studied Experimental Visual Design at The Art School of Linz. She works as film editor for Anja Solomonowitz, Sabine Derflinger, Elfi Mikaesch and many more. Petra plays the hawaiian guitar in the band "Gil Cherri", wich also makes music for films.
Her experimental film "Where is Lotte?", was part of the 17th IN THE PALACE 2020 where it recieved the Best Experimental Film Award.
