PASCAL REINMANN was born in 1989 near Bern, Switzerland. After the obligatory school time, he completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and in 2009 he finished the technical baccalaureate. In 2012 he started his studies in Film at the Zurich University of the Arts, specialization camera. Besides his studies, Pascal works as a freelancing cameraman and in 2013 he cofounded the Nordhang Film GmbH. In 2018 he finished his MA in cinematography at the Zurich University of the Arts. For his thesis short film MILLIMETERLE he won the German “First Steps Award” as well as many other awards internationally, including SPECIAL MENTION for BEST STUDENT FICTION at 15th IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival. He currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland where he works as a DP and focuses on his own projects as a director.
