Gradually, the onlookers meet the stares of the grotesquely mutilated mannequins, disturbing reproductions of the female figure. The female mannequins are mutilated in order to minimize the feminine characteristics, like a warning call sent to Iranian women and society, an absurd totem intended to perpetuate the established order.
