In the industrial landscape - among mines, coking plants and ironworks - lives Andrzej Wojtasik, who, after a fifteen-year sentence, completed a two-year resocialization course at a center for former prisoners. Andrzej tries to re-establish contact with his family, but when the answering machine comes on again, he realizes that the problem of social resocialization lies not only with the inmates.
