Zoran Galic is a film producer who first started out as a film director. Namely, he has a degree in Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Arts at University of Banja Luka, but at some point, during his studies, he decided that his has a talent and a passion for production. Since 2004, he has been directing and producing commercials, music and corporate videos and short films, but from 2007, he has been working mostly as producer. In 2003, he founded an independent production house Vizart Film in Banja Luka wishing to focus on and support independent and art films, and young, talented directors. Since then he has produced feature and short fiction films, documentaries and one animated film ranging from comedy, to thriller noir, drama, experimental and socially engaged films. He holds an MA in Film and TV Production at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He was an Ex Oriente (2015), EAVE (2016), Producer on the Move (2017) and Emerging Producers (2018/19) participant.
In 2015, he received the national award for his Contribution to Bosnia and Hercegovina’s film industry. He is a member of the European Film Academy and member of Board of Directors at the Association of Filmmakers in Bosnia and Hercegovina. From 2015 he is Head of MEDIA Desk at Desk Creative Europe Bosnia and Herzegovina.
