Rozalia Las is an award-winning director, writer and visual artist. She was born in 1993 in Bialystok, Poland. Graduated from University of the Arts Poznan. She is largely associated with her painting techniques and traditional animation. Rozalia's last works May the World Not Carry You (Oby ciebie nie nosiła ziemia) and Good Night, Neighbour (Dobranoc sąsiedzie) have been screened at multiple international film festivals, winning numerous awards over the last years, among them Renato Guttuso Award at ANIMAPHIX International Animated Film Festival in Italy. Her animated painting short film May the World Not Carry You won the Award for Best Student Animation at 18th IN THE PALACE in 2021. When she's not directing and painting, she makes music and spends time underwater.
