He studied cinematography in Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City, where he teach now in the cinematography speciality program. He has also been invited by the CUEC (Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos) to lead master classes in cinematography.
Kenji Katori studied cinematography in Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City, where he teach now in the cinematography speciality program. He has also been invited by the CUEC (Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos) to lead master classes in cinematography. His work has been selected and awarded in several festival such as Cannes, SXSW Film Festival, Karlovy Vary Film Festival, International Habana Film Festival, Morelia Film Festival and Festival International de Cine in Guadalajara, to mention some. He has work in more than 30 countries in international projects as a cinematographer. He is part of the Mexican Society of Cinematographer since 2011.
