Ivan Popov, who almost everybody calls the “The Rabbit” (Zaeka), is a film director and creative leader with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of animation and advertising. Throughout this time he has worked on major campaigns for leading international brands, directed a number of animated short films and designed immersive visuals and SFX concepts for music videos and dance performances. His creative output includes more than 100 animated videos.In 2013 Ivan founded ROBO Lab, which has grown to become a leading animation and post-production studio on the Bulgarian market. He also holds a master’s degree in Movie Animation from New Bulgarian University and a marine captain’s license.
