I graduated with honours from my BA programme in English at Süleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey. I completed my MA in English Literature at Cappadocia University, where my thesis focused on the ecofeminist analysis of Doris Lessing's The Grass is Singing and its film adaptation, The Killing Heat. I conducted part of my research at the School of English, University of Leicester, UK, sponsored by TÜBİTAK. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Cinema and Television at SDU, where I am continuing to explore the intersections of literature, film, and ecofeminist theory.
