Antonis Lagarias holds a double major in cinema and theatre from the Paris 8 University and an MA in film studies from the École Normale Supérieure. He is a regular contributor to the East European Film Bulletin and he has also contributed to publications such as Film Quarterly and Exostis. He worked as programmer for the Thessaloniki Film Festival (2022–2023) in the international selection and was part of the selection committee for the script competition of the European Independent Film Festival (2018). Member of FIRPESCI, he has participated in several festival juries. He also works in theatre production and research.
