28.06 - DJ Vasko Netkovski
Vasko Netkovski / Vaso has always been a music lover since. In the late 80’s he got in touch with Hip-Hop culture and fell in love with Rap music. Drum’n’Bass, Breakbeat, Big Beat, Trip Hop and, of course, Jazz music felt like logical progression in his music obsession. By adding more and more styles in his collection he slowly started thinking how it would feel playing that music, but never in a professional way.
However, there was a twist in the mid 90’s when he started visiting Massiva music store on regular bases where House and Techno slowly started getting under his skin. He started buying records and learning beat-matching at that same store which caused the owner, DJ Pass-N-G-R, to start saying goodbye to his nerves.
He started proper DJ-ing in the late 90’s and since then he has played in numerous clubs and festivals, both domestic and international, sharing the stage with the world’s biggest names from the electronic scene. Even though he's known for playing electronic music, for the last few years he developed a passion for collecting and playing music on 45's.
