Stela Veta is a second year Research Master’s student in the department of Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Her resrearch interests lie in the fields of transnationalism, post-Yugoslav diasporic cinema, collective memory, and film aesthetics. She is currently writing her Master thesis on collective memory and precarity in Balkan diasporic cinema.
