Synopsis: Filmed during the battle of Kobani, this film reveals the women at the heart of the fight against IS. With stoical perseverance and the aid of American airstrikes, these women are leading the fight for freedom.

Reber Dosky is a Kurdish-Dutch filmmaker. Living in The Netherlands since 1998, he studied film direction at the Netherlands Film Academy. He completed his studies with The Call (2013), about the impact of war and displacement on the relation between a father and a son. The Call won several awards on international film festivals. The short documentary the Sniper of Kobani (2015) brought the international breakthrough of Reber Dosky and was awarded at multiple festivals.
Ребер Доски е кюрдско-холандски автор на филми. Изучава филмова режисура във Филмовата академия на Нидерландия, като завършва с филма „The Call“ (2013) за въздействието на войната върху взаимоотношенията между баща и син, който печели няколко награди на международни филмови фестивали. Късометражният му документален филм „Тhe Sniper of Kobani“ (2015) му носи международна слава.
