Synopsis: Resting on the table is the map of my last trip to the Svalbard archipelago, at the North Pole. That map, crumpled and broken, has become a form of mental cartography, a territory of painting and drawing, a new and exciting space for the imagination.
На масата стои картата на последното ми пътуване до архипелага Свалбард, на Северния полюс. Тази смачкана и накъсана карта, се е превърнала в своеобразна форма на умствена картография, територия на рисуване и чертане, ново и вълнуващо пространство за въображението.

Jesus Mari Lazkano is Full Professor of the Department of Painting and Doctor of Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country. He has made numerous solo exhibitions in the US, China, Switzerland, Jakarta, Spain and Italy. In 2016, a complete retrospective of his last 40 years career was organized during the European Cultural Capital of Donostia-San Sebastian. Recently, he has participated in a scientific-artistic expedition to the North Pole, organized by the American Foundation The Arctic Circle. Climber in his youth, is now linked to navigation.
Хосу Венеро е роден през 1962 г. в Билбао, Испания. Ръководи и продуцира повече от 40 художествени документални филма, както и няколко документални телевизионни поредици (TVE, Canal Arte, ETB и др.).
Хесус Мари Лазкано е роден през 1960 г. в Бергара, Испания. Художник и преподавател в Катедрата по живопис и доктор по изящни изкуства в Университета на Страната на Баските. Няколко пъти си е сътрудничил с Хосу Венеро за създаването на различни аудиовизуални творби за музеи.
