This is the fourth short film directed by Miguel Parra after Sin Respuesta (Speechless) (selected at Clermont-Ferrand film festival, awarded in several national and international festivals), Rawan16/07 and Vero´s Garden (awarded in Spanish festivals). His short films use to deal with social issues. In this case (AB)Normal talks about transsexuality and social tension connected with society. Miguel is also the screen writer and he thinks that the bottom line of all of them is the lack of empathy.
