Dmitry Geller was born in 1970 in Sverdlovsk. From 1986 to 1990 he was a free painter.
From 1990 to 1995 he worked as assistant animator of animation studio A-Film (Sverdlovsk).
From 1995 to 1997 he studied at the highest courses for script writers and film directors.
Author of twelve animated films Dmitry Geller is a leading and globally recognized young Russian animators.
Faisal A. Qureshi (UK) – director, script-writer and editor. He is a part-time lecturer at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV in Cuba, Salford University and Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK.
He has also worked on the British Council “I, Belong” project in Pakistan and the “Film ON” project in Uzbekistan.
Hu Wai was born in Beijing at 1983 and today he lives and works between Paris and Beijing. In 2011 he obtained diploma from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and in 2013 he got another one from Le Fresnoy, Natonal Studio of Cntemporary Arts.
Hu Wei is the director of "Butter Lamp", a short film which obseves the lives of Tibetan nomads through the eyes of a photographer. Critically acclaimed, "ButterLamp" won a multitude of awards in 2014, including the Grand Prix at IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival and Grand Jury Award at the AFI Film Festival. It was also screened at Cannes, Sundance and the New York Film Festival, as well as over 200 other festivals.
The film was on the shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Live Action short film, along with 9 other films.
