Synopsis: Joey is a short family drama about a six year old boy on the day that his mother dies. In an effort to shield him from the family's new reality Joey is lavished with attention and privileges but can small pleasures continue to distract him from the truth?

David Forster is a 28 year old filmmaker from Melbourne, Australia. He is currently attending the Victorian College of the Arts, studying film directing and has written, directed and produced six short films over the past three years. 'Joey' is the true story of the day his mother died.
