Synopsis: 1997. New Year Eve. A man braves the cold winter night in order to bring a friend of his a cake as a gift. The cake never makes it to the receiver because it ends up in front of the door of a poor gipsy family.

Milko Yovchev graduated from NATFA in 2009, taking part in four graduating performances – “Edmond”, “Belgrade Trilogy”, “The Pillowman”, “Stories from Ancient Bulgaria”. During the education in the Academy, he took part in numerous student film projects. He also took part in some TV commercials, Music Videos, Short Movies, Productions of BNT and bTV. A Cake Story is his debut as a director.
