Synopsis: March 16th, 1978. Seventy three passengers boarded a plane from Sofia to Warsaw. Among theme were the Bulgarian National gymnastic and soccer youth teams, together with citizens from Poland and the Czech Republic. At 13:24 pm Commander Hristo Hristov obtained permission to depart and started the engines. As it flies towards Brestnitsa the plane suddenly diverts left from its course, taking a westward direction. At 13:52 pm it is understood that the plane crashed near the town of Vratsa. In an attempt to unravel the mystery of why it crashed, the author of the film meets people associated with the event, namely, pilots who remember the tragedy and had flown the fatal aircraft TU-134, a forensic doctor who has not found any identifiable bodies, the son of the sole witness to the air crash and to Neshka Robeva who lost her coach in the flames of the disaster.

Rosen Tsvetkov (1986) studied journalism at Sofia University. 2010 he acquired a master's degree in management in the electronic media. From 2006 to 2008 Rosen was a reporter at the Bulgarian National Radio. In 2007 he became the host of the teen show "Cool" at Bulgarian National Television. Since 2008, he is a criminal reporter at the Bulgarian National Television. He has won numerous awards in film festivals at Bulgaria and nominations in world competitions. This is his second participation in "In the palace".
