Synopsis: The editing room is like a sanctuary. Every single filmstrip is sacred, whirring through a Steenbeck at 24 frames a second. But what happens if just one fraction of a second is lost? This short film inspects what may happen to the editor if in the process of piecing together a masterwork, a single frame is lost. What does he have to go through in order to find it and to fix the possibly colossal setback?
Director: Marie Dvorakova
Marie Dvorakova was born in Czech Republic. She graduated from Charles Univesity in Prague, where she received Bacchelor's degree in Journalism. She studied documentary filmmaking at Prague Film School - FAMU, where she received Bacchelor's degree in 2006. She is currently enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she studies film directing. For her studies in US she was awarded Dean's Fellowship by Tisch School of the Arts.
